You might face print quality issues of this type if the ink level is low in the cartridge or the cartridge is not clean.

Load a white, plain paper into the input tray.
Tap the Setup button on your printer control panel.
Click the Right Arrow button to open the Print Report tab and then select OK.
Click the Right Arrow button to open the Print Quality tab and then tap OK.
The diagnostic report prints.
Review the print quality diagnostic report for defects. If this doesn’t work, try cleaning the area around the ink nozzles.
Be sure to perform this step only if the test page shows smeared text, shadows, or track marks.
Collect the items for this process which includes dry foam-rubber swabs or a lint-free cloth, distilled, filtered, or bottled water.
Begin this process by powering on the printer.
Now, open the scanner lid and then the ink cartridge access door.
The carriage will then move to the ink cartridge access area.
Don’t proceed until the carriage is silent and idle.
Gently press on the top of the cartridge to release it and then draw it toward you to take it out of its slot.
Hold the cartridge, inspect it, and clean the area around the ink nozzle with the lint-free cloth dipped in distilled water.
Wait for 10 minutes and reinsert the cartridge in its place.
Repeat the same steps to clean the area on the other ink cartridge Close the scanner lid and the ink cartridge access door.
Try printing.
