  • Check the printouts that printed recently from your printer.
  • Confirm if you have performed any software update or Windows update.
  • Do the following actions to install the HP software successfully on the computer.
  • Choose any document or photo on the computer and click Print to print directly from the printer.
  • Check whether your computer sends the print job to the printer without any intervention.
  • Take two copies of the same printout.
  • Run the HP tool called Print and Scan Doctor Utility on the computer.
  • Check the results whether the issue is corrected or not.
  • If the problem continues, try to uninstall the currently installed printer driver on your computer.
  • Before you uninstall, switch off the printer and disconnect the power cord.
  • Open the Programs and Features category on your Windows computer.
  • Go to the Device Manager feature and check if your printer name is listed there.
  • Right-click on the printer name and select Delete to remove the printer driver.
  • Open the Print Server Properties and delete all the entries that are listed in your printer name.
  • Restart the system you use and open the Run dialog screen.
  • Enter the text as %temp%, click OK, and hit the Enter key.
  • Try to delete all the temporary files that are displayed on the screen.
  • Use the Regedit option to remove all the registries on your printer name.
  • Restart your system and then try to download the full feature driver from the manufacturer’s site.
