Northeast Printer First to Upgrade Its HP Indigo 12000 to HD Imaging System

HD Imaging System was first introduced in CCTV cameras. They are known to increase the resolution and image quality per square inch. This includes full-motion HD daylight imager which is equipped with continuous zoom MWIR thermal cameras, HD Imaging technology uses fiber optics Gyro stabilization (FOG).

This stunning technology is deployed in HP Indigo 12000 printers by Duggal Visual systems, which is a global graphics provider in New York which is the first company in the Northeast United States to receive new HP Imaging System. It has deployed this technology in the HP Indigo 12000 printer. This technology is suited for the commercial printing market. This technology boosts the printing resolution to 1625 dpi and a virtual resolution of 4876 dpi and an amazing screen line 290 which is tailored for smooth, detailed printing. This surpasses most commercial printers thereby making them very reliable.

The HP Indigo 12000 printer’s production speed is 4,600 20*29 inch sheets per hour, plus 7 color capability. This device is also equipped with HP Indigo ElectroInk white spot colors and Fluorescent Inks. Duggal has also added HP Imaging System which acts as a new benchmark for image quality. This technology helps reproduce the image at its best quality by reproducing skin tones, skies, flat tint areas, fine text, and landscapes.

HD Imaging System provides double addressability which is at 30 % smaller ink dots. This permits enhanced halftone dot placement. This enhances the image further as enhanced dots are denser, smaller and more uniformly placed. This results in a high virtual resolution and enhanced LPI screens.
