HP8620 Will NOT Connect to Web services | Solved


You might encounter issues like this if the printer firmware is not updated to the latest version. Follow the solutions mentioned here to Resolve this error.
  • Update the printer firmware and then assign a manual DNS address.
  • Download and update the printer firmware from the manufacturer’s site.
  • Restart the printer after it is done.
  • Get the IP address of the printer by tapping the Wireless option on the printer control panel.
  • Enter the IP address on a web browser to get the printer EWS page on your system.
  • Tap the Network option, open the Wireless (802.11) option, and click on the Network Address (IPv4) option.
  • Tap the Manual IP radio button and click Suggest a manual IP address to assign a manual IP address to the printer.
  • Tap the Manual DNS Server radio button.
  • In the manual preferred, type 8.8.8.8 and in the manual alternate, type 8.8.4.4.
  • This is the address of the Google DNS Server.
  • Try accessing the web services to check if the method worked.
  • You can also change the internet proxy server settings and review if this method works.If all these steps didn’t fix your issue, then you can proceed to perform an advanced reset on the printer.
  • When you execute a factory reset on the printer, it is set to the default settings.
  • You can set the printer all over again from the start, ensuring no recent update is pending, and the settings are proper so that the printer works fine.
